A set of dumbells that can be used for many physical acitiviesSo you're probably thinking this is just another "eat right and work out" blog post, but it's different because this is my version of it all. I believe that the significance of staying healthy in life cannot be expressed enough! It's important to always have new sources of motivation, and other people's perspectives on such matter.

Exercising is beneficial in so many ways but people still fail to take action no matter how aware you make them. Even to this day, the importance of nutrition and exercise is not emphasized enough in our school systems (at least here in the US). Children don't get the proper exposure to things like how much fun it could be to participate in healthy activities.

Sooner or later, I believe that the obesity epidemic of America is gonna get so bad, the types of actions would have to be taken that absolutely no one will like. Yes, there are many complications in people's lives, but there's still not enough effort being put towards bettering children's lives through activities and education. More after the jump...

I am pretty positive that if laws were passed that would enforce balancing out the curriculum of schools around the nation, many parents and children will endorse it. Last time I checked, and from what I remember, "gym class" is always the favorite way of spending time during school. What this means is that, for the most part, the drive of the students is already there, now the people in control need to do their part.

Other nations laugh at the United States for having such a great deal overweight people, amongst many other reasons. After all, we are the creators of junk food, and the mass pioneers of the international fast food industry.

As responsible adults, it is our moral obligation to strive towards making a change to better our current and future generations. We should make health and hygiene classes more of a priority in public schools. Educational activities that involve healthy physical participation should be encouraged.

Some would argue that it's not good to physically work a child's body too much because they would lose focus in other academics, but that's where smart planning and balance comes into the picture. I am absolutely positive that we have minds in the system that are bright enough to come up with something that works for us, and our children.

Now, let's get to the part you're probably most curious about. YOU!

There are plenty of gyms to sign up to, and plenty of things you can do at home to get your share of exercise, but you ask yourself "I feel great, why should I have to exercise?" Well, here lies the problems. A lot of people don't realize how bad of a shape they're in until it's too late. And trust me, nobody likes to hear the words "too late."

Exercising can effect so many aspects of one's life, it's crazy to not want to do it! When you work out, your body becomes much stronger and can handle more in terms of being able to pull off physical tasks, or ones that just take a really long time! Your metabolism gets much better (especially with nutrition) and the things you eat make you feel great and energetic! Sleeping becomes something you look forward to doing, and waking up is no longer the most treacherous part of the day. Plus, wouldn't you want to stop breaking a sweat every time you climb a flight of stairs?

Being in good shape also contributes to your psychological state of mind - you become more positive and confident in yourself where you feel you can achieve the most complex of tasks. This is the type of state that builds a person's persona that can go a long way beyond the gym into the rest of your life. Being generally happier with yourself always contributes to other things...

You may have the sudden confidence boost to work towards that promotion you've always wanted, or to surprise that special someone when it comes to intimacy in the bedroom. Yes, a healthier body both physically and mentally improves your sex drive.

So what are you gonna do? I mean, should I continue blabbering about the benefits of eating right and working out, or are you gonna take matters into your own hands to see how you can make a difference in yourself and those around you? Remember, our children are the future. We all want what's best for them, and I know that nobody wants their kids to be overweight and lazy because they just don't know any better.

Side note: I am fully aware that there are some medical conditions out there that trouble people with their weight. I apologize if I have offended any of you, my readers, because of your weight whether or not it's due to a medical condition. I strive to personally better myself and help those around me as much as I can. I love and appreciate all the things life has to offer too much to not care and let these things go untouched

Thanks to our advancement in medicine and health studies, there are many solutions available for people that are in need. Don't be afraid to seek help if you feel that you need it, even a little bit. Your courage and perseverance will not only make you look good, but you will feel happy and great that you're making a difference within yourself.

With that, I end with this: If any one of my readers would care to talk to me personally about any of these matters, please get in touch. You can use the contact form on my "Contact" page, you can post a comment and have a discussion for everyone to see. Thank you.
