The Apple iPad is underwhelming to say the least. The first problem was the amazing hype surrounding the product and some of that hype can be blamed on Apple. Companies and consumers all around the world were expecting a product that will do for digital media like literature and video what the iPod did for music. Yes, the Apple iPad does deliver on some of those aspects to deliver a vastly improved portable multimedia experience. There lies the problem, it is an improved experience, not a revolutionary one.

People expect MORE from Apple now, they canNOT rest on their laurels. This is the dangerous path that successful companies that deliver "game-changing" products walk, you are only as good as your last achievement.

Even the most vocal Apple Zealots are unsure how to react to the Apple iPad. How can they defend a BRAND NEW product that can't even MULTITASK? Excuse me for wanting more, but that is what WE as consumers expect from Apple.
