Just like in the U.S., the government follows it's own laws and creats fair laws that are passed by the people. I think when you decide to migrate, you also need to make a choice of assimilating. There are parts of American culture I love and praise, and there are parts, I don't. Having parents who trusted me to make my own sensible decisions allowed me to grow in ways many where not allowed. I think migration is another way of evolution, if we don't evolve then we die.
